US-Taliban talking in QATAR!!

Hi and hellos!
hope all are fine and living peaceful and happy life!

US-Taliban talking in QATAR!!

US is doing talking because :

1- The elections is coming! and OBAMA want to win because due to His CHANGE slogan nothing had really changed

2- US want to divert its attention to Middle East!!! because in my view there interests would be chalanged!!!

3- According to tsan tzu's book the art of war:
if you are in defeating position call your enemy to come to talking table and whenever you feel that you have the energy to tackle your enemy then tore the pact!!!

may be this would be US governments stance!!!

I am going to respond in a respectful way. Please take it in that way.

In my opinion the US wants to divert it's attention from the middle east. I will not deny some of our leaders are ready to fight anywhere anytime. But if some of the "instigators" in the middle east would just let the dust settle things would get much better. But a few of them keep giving the US excuses to hang around. They could do more to be rid of the US by just living their lives and doing their best for their families. But when they keep blowing off at the mouth and even blowing up people that makes people here feel like we can't leave now.

All countries could have so much more and have a happier life if they would just get off the hate train.

But maybe I am wrong.

Obama is trying to end the war so we can mine the $1,000,000,000,000 in lithium we (well the Soviets but we confirmed it) found in the country.

Well, thanks for your civilized pre-determined way!

how you are going to say that US is diverting its attention from middle east when its former presidents and ambassadors are talking with FJP party in Egypt, They are against Syrian Bashar ul assad, in libya they played an important role and now they gave residence to yemeni president?

Actually Obama is trying to bring his actual and real Change due to which he won 2008 elections but unfortunately it isn't coming may be Politics is all about deceiving and how to get fool your voters in order to win in elections

While 2012 election is near he started talks to show his voters that he is against war irrespective of that he sent down more than 2000 troops to afghanistan in 2009

while the mines are the part of the Grave Yard Of Empires, Afghanistan!!!

What I meant was some are wanting to shift away from wars and fighting in the middle east. There may be more happening in Asia in the future. Most of us can see our "former presidents" made some huge mistakes.

It makes me sad to say this, but I am not sure Libya or Egypt are much better off. Seems like a lot of "revenge" still happening.

Our military will go anywhere they are sent. But we send them to fight and die for years. Then the people back home get tired of it and we pull out. Leaving everyone that worked with us to be destroyed.

And the people that wanted our "help" so they could be "free" usually turn on us. As for Bashar, I think he needs replacing. But not my the US. There are people closer and with more right to become involved there. Obama loves going on TV and saying some leader must or will go. It is none of our business when and if they change leadership. When will our government learn we are not the world police. We have sold and given away weapons all over the world. Then they turn on us and kill us with them. How stupid is that?

I wish everyone a safe and happy life. And I wish 90% of our military was home taking care of the US.

I could say more but I am old, sick and tired. So I need to shut-up.

yeah i agree with you that there would be more happening coming to Asia, well still it has its own importance But for the America they had their interests too in Middle East!

I didn't said that they would go there from military point of view, even if they do it would be a disastrous!

In afghanistan for US the hard point is, here, there are more regional powers and super powers, so those powers can't swallow the american presence here any more or for permanent bases !!!

As for your age, i respect that some one with the bulk of experience is with us!

I would shake your hand. There are a few people that gain a lot from war. And many people pay the price of war. So as long as war provides profit and power it will be hard for everyone to live in peace.

Talking with terrorists was, is and will never be acceptable. They are after one thing, and the US government should know this and avoid talking to them at all cost, and try to kill them as fast as possible.

Hahaha Be Realist, come out from your self made ideal world!
Talibans are never terrorist they are the FREEDOM FIGHTERS as like George Washington's army who fight against imperialist Great Britain...

Great Britain had tried three times they already have face massacre and now the US are too facing!!!

They (US) are bound to talk, talibans never offered them to come to table its the american govt which offered to solve the issue and this means they know that they can not win in the mountains of afghanistan because no one can win here!!!

may be they should listen to the former Soviet generals that said to americans in 2001 and 2002 that you can't win by force there!!!!

For us the American Army in afghanistan are the real terrorists.....
See there acts which they have done in afghanistan and even if i get a chance i will too fight against the imperialist american army!!! that's what every afghan will do and they did in the past!!!

I want to ask you a question. I understand your problems with our Army. But if the soldiers were gone and poor old Dodge came to your door, how would he be greeted? Serious question. You may be the only afghan I get to ask.

And don't worry I don't travel much.

Never happened. The Soviets did not lose. They withdrew due to the collapse of the Soviet Union. They were bankrupt, thus forcing them to withdraw. The Taliban had absolutely nothing to do with their withdrawal. The Taliban was only giving the Soviets trouble via the use of US Stinger missiles, nothing more. The Soviets were in full control of Afghanistan.
