Something Nice For A Change

Because we're usually ranting about things we oppose, and deploring things we disapprove of, i decided to post this:

Certainly a great idea and it seems like a successful program thus far. Thanks for sharing- definitely a welcome change from our usual postings

Agreed, this is a nice story. For me it coincided with a glimpse of an interview on the news with a lady from Aghanistan, she was educated, her head was covered but not her face, and she had make up on. I was totally bowled over. She was arguing ethics in excellent English and the principle of people giving money to the Taliban in order to not get them to fight. She did not think that was a good education for the people of Afghanistan. I checked up on the Internet but could not find her name. I did however find two women who are powerful Afghanis:
