Acceptance is more likely to bring you happiness than understanding.

Acceptance of things it's always a shorter road to happiness than understanding them. Regardless of what it is.

Noticed on a 24 oz. jar of sauerkraut (imported from Germany) from ALDI that this medium size jar contains 22 servings. That's ridiculous!

unless you are cooking with it.

I should have elaborated.

Anyone watch the masterpiece mystery series : Sherlock Holmes, staring Benedict something or other?

It's an excellent modern update on Sherlock Holmes , much better than the American version staring Lucy Lu at Watson .

Everyone knows what? That the guy that played Kahn on startrek into the darkness is the same guy that played Sherlock Holmes on masterpiece mystery?

I am not flaunting anything
I think you have a bit of a persecution complex.

I learned why we call the time from June to August the dog days of summer. Evan and I have been doing a little bit of armature astronomy. I zoomed in on Sirius, a star in the Sirius major constellation. Looking up what we saw I learned that from June to august is the time when Sirius major was coming up in the east.

Sorry, the Greeks decided it was a dog. If it was a mule we would probably refer to the mule days of summer.

It's just the path not taken.
