Lock Him Up! Lock Him Up!!!

TrumpHumpers loved the "Lock her Up" chant based on HillBill possibly placing classified emails on a private server that no one even hacked into, Now their king has personally provided classified data to the Russians in a meeting only covered by Russian press because U.S. media was uninvited.

Anyone see a disconnect here?
Thanks from David and numan

The problem is, a story about a PRIVATE meeting cannot be sourced, since no independent viewer was present.

Actually it can be and has been.....regardless of the level of denial you feel the need to sink to. Likely you did the "lock her up" chant many times but then make up excuses for your man crush when he does something FAR worse....pretty damn pathetic.

Nope! Like I said MANY times before - Trump was my DEAD last GOP choice!!! - hello?!

I be just being objective, as you are NOT.

OK, WHAT is the independent source? I have yet to hear one mentioned.

you have no proof of any wrong doing, nor does the media.

the media throws chum in the water and the emotionally-driven, intellectually-challenged anti-trumpers can't get enough. consequently it pays to "leak" anti-trump stories.

YOU claiming ME to be "Intellectually Challenged" is rather laughable but yes...I have challenged the MSM and on occasion noted untruths or errors. However, when multiple sources and media locations report the same information and then new sources confirm and expand upon the initial data and the individuals reported on either lie or cloud rather than answer questions about it I am compelled to accept it as likely.
It is rather funny and disingenuous for people who believe obviously inaccurate news from a single conspiracy website to then deny the "Main Stream Media" which consists of pretty much EVERYONE else. You folks have been brainwashed, duped, and corrupted beyond hope of redemption and will eventually be held accountable once your man crush falls.

I didn't actually call you intellectually-challenged. re-read it.
I was noting the supply and demand component of anti-trump news.

you do have a tendency to revert to name-calling and pejoratives rather than dealing in factual debate. it is a weakness, in my opinion, and kind of points to a lack of game.

Granted I do use playful derogatory names for something that seriously pisses me off....I suppose I could instead lash out and then ban myself. There is very good reason for what you refer to as "Anti Trump News"....it is simply reporting on what he says and does, which is quite negative by any measure outside his fan club. As far as actual debate goes, I am by far the most fact based and competent debate participant on this forum and your opinion of me is based entirely on your belief I am a liberal democrat.

Even IF true, as President, he apparently has a RIGHT to do so!

We certainly dont want any president to leak classified information but the president does have the right to do that, insisted Senator John McCain. Its no longer classified the minute he utters it, explained Senator Jim Risch.

The argument was eerily familiar. Trump, as his supporters pointed out, had a legal right to fire FBI Director James Comey. Likewise legal, Trump’s decision to hold on to his vast and non-transparent business empire, the value of which he can increase through his powers as president. (“The law’s totally on my side, meaning, the president can’t have a conflict of interest,” he exulted.) That is true, and the legality Trump enjoys extends much further than even his supporters have suggested. Since the president can pardon anybody, probably including himself, he can operate with hardly any legal restraint at all.

The Law Can?t Stop Trump. Only Impeachment Can.

Legality does not make a thing acceptable practice, there is good reason these things (and many others) were NOT done by previous Presidents and certainly not to this extent. When combined with the incredible falsehoods put forth on a continuous basis, the complete disregard for traditional norms, the placement of nothing but "Yes Men" into cabinet positions, The elimination of opposition and checks or balances and many other serious issues he seems poised to become an Autocrat rather than President....this scares me.

You really have no clue what went on "behind the scenes" with other Presidents. We may have done it often, in order to gain something, for a net positive.

John McCain is usually a foe to Trump, but in this case he's defending him, so that says a great deal.

It is now settled; Trump was NOT engaged in a lapse of security:

National security adviser H.R. McMaster said on Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump did not have an inappropriate conversation or one that caused a lapse in national security when he met with senior Russian officials last week at the White House.

"I stand by my statement that I made yesterday," McMaster told a White House briefing. "What I'm saying is really the premise of that (Washington Post) article was false, that in any way the president had a conversation that was inappropriate or resulted in any kind of lapse in national security."
