Unlike Iran which is a syncretist theological political system.
The monarch HAS to be a maker of the Church of England becuase they're the theocratic head of state.

The monarch is merely a nostalgic, ceremonial position with no real power.

Hi mate, not that this has any relevance to the thread but....well...no. There is no link between church and state they are seperate entities unlike Iran where church is state i.e. theocracy.
Thanks from Aufgeblassen

And yet no Catholics, Jews, Mormons, Muslims, Pentecostals, etc. The monarch is head of the Church of England, the titles are intertwined. The British monarch is, in theory, a theocratic absolute monarchy, same as Iran (minus the monarchy). Iran takes a more proactive role on the religious side of things than the UK but the Amahimijad years aside Parliament runs the show. The governing philosophies are different but the framework is largely the same. MY POINT is that all things being equal on the geopolitical front, Iran wouldn't be any more objectionable than the UK and be equally Western in its outlook and would likely moderate further if not always on the defencive. The evil Muslim angle just doesn't work if you step back and look at the facts.

As you said, not really on topic, I just don't like my arguments misinterpreted.
