Former Seal Says Time For Military Action

The rhetoric continues to add to the tensions between North Korea and the U.S. President Trump warned threats from North Korea would be met with ‘fire and fury’, while North Korea claims it has missiles that could reach Guam.

The U.S. has tried sanctions, but former Navy SEAL Carl Higbie told the FOX Business Network’s Maria Baritromo, “Obviously sanctions haven’t worked.”

Though Higbie didn’t support a preemptive strike by the U.S., he did support a military response to North Korea’s missile tests.

Anyway back to the fantasy....

If you had some reading comprehension, you'd know the name of the Seal is Carl Higbie.

Then that carrier gets sunk by a Chinese sub and everything within 90 miles of the DMZ gets leveled by NK. Knowing FOX's journalistic standards, I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't even a SEAL and they just ran with the 1st fruad that came along.
Thanks from tecoyah and Fitz

When the Pentagon or anyone in power acts on the advice of a Navy Seal (if he even is one), our country truly deserves what it gets.

Why is there so much fixation in the US about North Korea?

Quote:
BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — President Trump continued to forcefully threaten North Korea on Wednesday, asserting that the U.S. nuclear arsenal is “far stronger and more powerful than ever before.”
Quote:
“It is now far stronger and more powerful than ever before,” Trump wrote. “Hopefully we will never have to use this power, but there will never be a time that we are not the most powerful nation in the world!”

Whoopee doodah..this is like the cold war rhetoric of the 50s and 60s. I find it fascinating.

Trump’s threat to North Korea contrasts with calm reassurances of other administratio

Quote:
As President Trump amplified his bellicose warning to North Korea on Wednesday, senior administration officials rushed to reassure a suddenly jittery world that they stood behind his sentiments, if not necessarily his language.

What many outside the White House — and some on the inside — interpreted as an undisciplined presidential eruption threatening nuclear conflict was just Trump’s way of expressing an agreed policy of pressure on Pyongyang, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters.
I wonder how that new director of communications fella is working out?
Quote:
As North Korea’s military on Wednesday expanded its threat to strike Guam, warning of “simultaneous fire of four” intermediate-range ballistic missiles and describing Trump’s statements as “a load of nonsense,” top U.S. national security officials publicly struggled to straddle a line between backing the president and trying to calm the upheaval he had generated.
hmmmm...not so good it seems.

....and enter stage left...
Quote:
Not everyone inside the administration was taken aback by Trump’s remarks. One of the president’s favored spokesmen, White House adviser Sebastian Gorka, ratcheted up the brinkmanship, saying in a television interview Wednesday morning that the situation “is analogous to the Cuban missile crisis.”
Seb Gorka has all the intellectual capacity of a cheese sandwich and is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard WTF does he think is going to happen?

Are the preppers stocking up on kimchi and Ddukbokkie......

I doubt very much that anyone outside the U.S. takes anything our President says seriously or as accurate anymore. Likely they are well aware he rarely speaks truth an is not well liked or supported by the rest of our government. Basically he can bluster an beat his chest all day, but all he has is a squeaking bark.

No....most of us are completely sane and understand that "Thinking" is not our Presidents strong suit. Also understand that the backwoods prepper movement is about as popular as week old sushi and generally tossed in the same receptacle.....makes interesting TV though.

Just a bit on FOX news but generally in snippets elsewhere subtly pointing out his ignorance.

This nuke "crisis" with North Korea is what will likely happen in a few more years with Iran. Idiotic, niave and corrupt democrats fancy a kumbaya notion that other countries have the same values as us. they do not.

CLINTON APPROVES A PLAN TO GIVE AID TO NORTH KOREANS - NYTimes.com

Quote:
This agreement will help achieve a longstanding and vital American objective -- an end to the threat of nuclear proliferation on the Korean Peninsula," Mr. Clinton said this afternoon, after his top foreign policy advisers described the details of an enormously complex agreement struck with North Korea late Monday.
thanks president Clinton. I know, everyone's so busy blaming Trump for using mean words they dare not look at the etiology of this.
