I predict a MAJOR volcanic eruption will plunge the Earth into "nuclear Winter". :o

No need to wait anxiously for any announcement whether Moon will accept Fatboy Kim's invitation to visit North Korea.

Herein I make a "prediction" or an "intelligent guess" that Moon will visit North Korea within this year.

I shall explain my "logical line of thinking" for my so-called "prediction" or "intelligent guess" in the next posting. Meanwhile, readers can regard my so-called "prediction" or "intelligent guess" as a joke, BREAKING NEWS or fake news. :p

I also "predict" the visit and other attempts at appeasement will end in dismal failure like the Sunshine Policy of Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun. North Korea has vowed umpteen times that it will never give up its nuclear programme. Hence how can North Korea let anybody, not even Xi, Putin or Trump, violently stomp on its "red line" of nuclear ambitions and cross it without hesitation? Any talk about denuclearising North Korea is just paying lip service, if not selling a pipe dream. Seeking the "complete denuclearisation" of North Korea is akin to looking for a unicorn rather than facing reality. PEACEFFUL reunification and denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula will happen when pigs fly.

When North Korean tanks roll southward across the border one fine day, the majority of South Koreans will prefer waving the white flag than perishing in a "sea of fire". Perhaps then two (or three?) special ghosts will be crying their hearts out in hell.

P.S. Some years ago before 2013, I "predicted" or "guessed intelligently" in a US political forum that "the Israeli-Palestinian conflict (or Arab-Israeli conflict) could never be totally resolved". Recent events in the Middle East tend to confirm the accuracy of my "prediction".

Below is another "prediction" or "intelligent guess" which I made on October 8, 2011 in the same US political forum about Russia's return to the global stage:

"Here lies a wounded bear. Once recuperated, he'll be back with a vengeance." -- reedak :)

Mr Governor, you must have made a mountain of fortune out of a molehill of penny stocks. :)

Denuclearising North Korea is as difficult as destroying the koramon's egg in my http://politicalfray.com/political-h...untain-9a.html

After succesfully predicting Moon's visit to North Korea within this year, I follow up with a "prediction" or "intelligent guess" that there won't be any GENUINE denuclearisation of the rogue state anytime this year.

I predict that most predictions for 2018 will be wrong.

If my prediction becomes the tie breaker, it will throw the whole thing into chaos because neither case can be correct.

You should also seriously consider taking nothing into serious consideration. :D

Following my successful "prediction" or "intelligent guess" of Moon's visit to North Korea within this year, I make the following "predictions" or "intelligent guesses" about more possible happenings in the Asia-Pacific region.

(a) Denuclearising North Korea is as difficult as destroying the koramon's egg in my http://politicalfray.com/political-h...untain-9a.html

Instead of "history in the making", it will be the rogue state's "historical ruse in the making". North Korea is going to fool the South and Uncle Sam for the third time. There won't be any genuine denuclearisation concession from the rogue state.

(b) North Korea's overture to the South is a masterstroke to breach the US-led international sanctions. It will demand economic aid and the reopening of the Kaesong industrial complex in exchange for family reunions between the North and South.

(c) As a Chinese saying goes, "Having a working relationship with the emperor is akin to staying close to a tiger". Similarly, there is a new saying (by reedak) which Japan has learned bitterly from long periods of arm-twisting by the US, "Having a trade or commercial relationship with an economic power is akin to staying close to a Tyrannosaurus rex".

I "predict" or "guess intelligently" that beginning this year there will be a big trade war between China and the US.

(d) During Trump's term, he will meet at least once with the Taiwanese leader disregard of China's opposition.

(e) It must be noted that tubby Kim has not suddenly gone nuts or become a dotard to go all the way to Europe to attend a summit as the "Korean Hirohito" or a captive of a defeated or surrendered nation. Thanks again to his southern counterpart, North Korea's crafty ruler once again finds a way to escape sanctions at the most critical juncture of his nuclear programme.

It is very unfortunate for mankind that North Korea's nuclear programme, like the koramon's egg in my political satire, escapes destruction again and again. Although Trump will fail to denuclearise North Korea, he will be more fortunate than the priest in my political satire to be able to have a close look at the "rare egg of the koramon" across the table.

Japanese rulers have always viewed Korea as a "dagger pointed at the heart of Japan". My next "prediction" or "intelligent guess" is that the "land of the rising sun" will go nuclear in the long run to deal with "the flying nuclear dagger pointed at the heart of Japan".
