Well, we do have some decency and self-respect still. Be nice if we could use this opportunity to stop accepting the puppet government and get back into the EU.

Let me put it this way. In this era of hate politics, a lot of unsubstantiated statements and labels are thrown around very casually. Say it enough and it becomes the truth. However, when you hear from people who actually work close to Trump, they say those labels are incorrect.

I do not claim to know the truth. In the latest, only Dick Durbin has came forward to claim he actually heard Trump use the offensive comment. There have been several who said they heard someone else say he he said it. There are several in the room who said they did not remember him saying it. Dick Durbin's reputation for telling the truth has been brought into question on at least one other occasion.

I, personally, avoid such comments about political enemies and try to keep the discussion to what I know, or at least admit I have no knowledge about the subject.

Your question not entirely clear. As in America, the most uneducated, feeling huge resentment against the way they were treated, voted for an irrelevance because they thought it would spite those who were less exploited, thus voting for something worse and sillier.

Just as the Germans did, voting for Hitler.

I expected better from the Brits. So much for their self perceived superiority.

I don't know about 'self-perceived superiority', but surely every normal person on earth is superior to that fat , decadent scum-bag of yours? I certainly know of nobody, not even Boris Johnson on a bad day, who wouldn't look like Einstein compared with that loon.

It must be difficult to realise that the loutish bullies you so admire seem to others to be gross untouchables. It must have been the French letting you loose before you'd been civilized.
Thanks from numan

I don't admire. You make bad assumption.

Collective 'you'. I can't imagine a yob like Trump being elected anywhere else except, possibly, Russia.

She was, of course, female, and you couldn't have that, could you?

It was a bizarre election. I would have preferred almost any of the other republican candidates and some of the democrats. Having spent considerable time in the military and an engineering profession where security was paramount, I am very knowledgeable about security procedures. I would be in prison if I had done what Hilary did. It is written off by the democrats as no big deal, but her lapse in judgment or whatever the reason, is inexcusable. It appeared to be primarily an effort to cover up her corruption. As I have mentioned before, I could not bring myself to vote for either one of them.
Thanks from Ralph47

You are incorrect. Far more States voted for Trump. 30 out of 50 in fact.
