ALLOWING Criminal Illegals??? - Seriously???!!!

That's INSANE!!!

Commentary on the DACA controversy frequently notes that the nation's nearly 700,000 so-called Dreamers are a law-abiding group. But a new bill to give DACA recipients full legal status, sponsored by Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham and Jeff Flake and Democratic Sens. Richard Durbin and Chuck Schumer, would allow newly legalized Dreamers to have many run-ins with the law -- arrests, charges, convictions -- and still receive benefits. Schumer, the Democratic leader, is demanding quick passage.

I have no problem with deporting criminal "Dreamers", but most are law-biding Americans who have fully assimilated into our culture. Most Americans see the problem of deporting people who were brought here as kids and are fully assimilated and living lawfully. You're in the 15% according to the poll below. FWIW, we need to tie any DACA legislation to better enforcement of immigration laws and immigration reform.

Poll: 76 percent of voters say 'Dreamers' should be allowed to stay | TheHill
More than three-quarters of Americans surveyed think that beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) program should be allowed to stay in the United States, according to a Morning Consult/Politico poll.

Seventy-six percent of respondents said the government should allow immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children to remain. 58 percent of that 76 percent believe they should be able to become citizens if they meet certain requirements, while 18 percent said they should be allowed to become legal residents.

Only 15 percent of respondents said such immigrants — commonly called "Dreamers" — should be deported, the poll found.

Most Americans don't consider a 16 year who who was brought here at age 1 and is a fully assimilated, law-biding citizen to be "CRIMINALS".
