More like a minor dip, if any!

Unruly neighbor: Canada complains to WTO, says US breached trade rules

Quote:
The 32-page complaint challenges Washington's use of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties, according to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Ottawa has cited around 200 examples of alleged US wrongdoing, almost all of them concerning other trading partners too, such as China, India, Brazil and the European Union.

Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said the legal action was in response to “unfair and unwarranted” US duties....

Under WTO rules, the United States has 60 days to try to settle the complaint. Otherwise Canada, which sends 75 percent of its goods exports to the US, could ask the trade organization to adjudicate.
One small step toward wrecking trade with the USA --- Hooray!

Just one more example of me correctly predicting the future --- though I claim only to see the OBVIOUS which escapes the notice of stunned, brainwashed Americans.

HUGE turnaround started TODAY.

The economy is AWESOME! No reason for the markets to behave the opposite.

The Dow ended at 24,190 today.

Ralphie, how's your stomach on this elevator ride down?

I can't speak for Ralph, but the stock market goes up and down, but the long term trend is up. You have to learn not to pay much attention to short term gains or losses.

Sometimes the "up" can take a long time --- as it did between 1929 and the early '50s.

It can. And other times it goes like gang busters. There are no sure things in this life.

Those days are mere legacy at this point.

The Obama drop was a mere pin prick to my 401K. It did not drop nearly as much as the general market, and recover much quicker too.
