I have a personal experience of discrimination in the work place. Actually two. And I am more or less a conservative-ish white man.

The crazy part is that most TPers are liberals, Palin is a socialist and most Congressional Dems are moderate conservatives... The total disregard (or in the case of most non-politicians that just parrot the pundits, honest ignorance) for what the terminology actually means is both sad and hilarious.

As for Palin, her record as well as here pre-VP run statements are pro-union, pro-labor, anti-corporation and she demanded that the oil companies pay a large share of their profits to the Alaskan people whom she believed to be the rightful owners of the oil. The leader of the DSA described her as the only socialist on the presidential ticket in 2008. And the Dems, pro-environmental conservation, pro-business conservation, unabashed American Exceptionalists, extremely militant and historically theocratic, pro-slavery, anti-integration and anti-CRA.

I blame Fox (part of a large conservative Muslim media empire...) for the confusion as it was around the time they went on air that things started getting mixed up.

Repubs and Dems both spend, the only difference is Dems pay for their spending thus the tax and spend mantra mathematically challenged Repubs like to use. You're not really helping yourself here. The only thing Repubs have EVER been conservative about is religion. On every other issue for the entire history of the party they've been liberal.

If your idea of a rebuttal is to quote mine, say the exact opposite of what I said, then attack the straw man, you might as well keep quite.

Perhaps you both need to see the validity of each others points....as both hold truth.
