The entire concept of "God" can be summed up in one sentence:

Humankind once and still cannot explain reality, so it created something to define it until it does.

But for many of us who (consciously or unconsciously) accept that there is no such thing as reality, there is no need to create something to explain it, hence no such belief.

it maybe that there are no atheists, just theists who are (consciously or unconsciously) mad at God.

If non-theists get angry, they get angry at the likes of Mother Nature, Father Time, and Lady Luck. Not something they never believed to exist.
