I Am Not A Politician, Therefore Political Correctness Does Not Apply To Me

Anyone else feel the same way?

'Political correctness' is just a right-wing way to describe decency and good manners, which they hate. It has a very loose connection with politics since it is an extremist noise for human decency, which is only marginally political.

Wrong! It is a right wing way of describing asinine over-reaction whereby common sense is thrown out the window, such as in the case where the small child was expelled from school for biting his Pop Tart vaguely into the shape of a gun!

It is, everywhere, made-up codswallop, created out of nothing by neo-nazis, who detest not being able to use racist and other language, as everyone in fact knows, though they like to pretend otherwise when they are in a racist mood.

What on earth has it to do with free speech? There was free speech in Germany and Austria while the right wing elements built up poisonous fantasies about the Jews and got them believed by constant repetition of drivel. It is the same with 'political correctness'. I once challenged a group of students to find me a single example outside the rightwing papers, and they couldn't.

Yes - obviously Hitler would have hated 'political correctness' if he'd thought to invent the notion. As I say, 'political correctness' is a drivel-label for decency and good taste made up by racists and other extremists. What is it you find difficult here?

Explain how stupid over-reaction to completely innocent situations/events is racist. You are really out in left field on this one.

Cite cases. Racism is endemic in American society, since they seem to be sold on this silly concept of 'race', so anyone who feels inadequate will try to spite people with darker skins. Here it tends to take more complex forms, on the whole, but 'political correctness' is always a concept treasured by those who want to insult, spite and hurt those they perceive as weaker, and yet feel prevented from lynching or setting up death camps by forces they cannot understand - humanity, decency, democracy and so on.

You are clueless as to how little actual racism there really is. Mere perceived racism is nothing more than phony.

I find that, on all sites, large numbers of Americans rant on and on and on about 'race' - a meaningless and totally outdated concept. Isn't that true? How can we discuss anything with people who are wrapped up in nonsense?
