I agree with your theory that it is not okay in the bible, but marrage is as much an institution of the government as it is religion, and I don't like the notion of the fed making rules about it. I am nither for nor against it, I am against amendments to the us constitution reguarding it. On the civil side of things it is no states business to regulate what happens in your home. On the spiritual side of it, Gay people are just as much people as anyone else, whether you agree with it or not is your business, but do not cast judgement on those who do, bible is just as much against that as anything else.
