Why Did They Murder Christ?

WHY DID CHRIST HAVE TO DIE? [

“Because this Man knew the Jews, because He proclaimed the truth to the world, he had to die. Hence the Jews murdered Him. They drove nails through His hands and feet and let Him slowly bleed. In such a horrible way the Jews took their revenge. And in a similar way they have killed many others who had the courage to tell the truth about the Jews. Always remember these things, children. When you see the Cross, think of the terrible murder by the Jews on Golgotha. Remember that the Jews are children of the Devil and human murderers.

THE MURDERERS OF JESUS CHRIST ;THE ENEMIES OF ALL MANKIND, PARASITIC VIRUSES AND HUMAN BACTERIA ,SPREADING THE JEWISH WORLD PLAGUE!

not sure if you are a troll or not, but...

have you ever considered that the Jews are often referred to as God's chosen people, in the same Bible that teaches about Jesus? yet despite that or because of that, they have been persecuted throughout time. its as though some entity wants to mock this title and in some cases wipe out these "chosen people". ()

plus the take away lesson to Christ's crucifixion is we all killed Christ with our sins. not the jews, not the romans, but all of humanity (or lack thereof).

oh and one last point.. Jesus was a Jew.

Why did Jesus have to die? So that the Roman bully-boys could do their disgusting worst, and when they'd finished he could get up and walk away, which put the stoppers on THEM, though it took time. Those who had made accommodations with them were just the usual quisling trash: you always find them grovelling where there's something to be had.

Actually Jesus was crucified not as a special case but as one of a long string of "messiahs" that challenged the hierarchy of the Jewish church and their protectors, the occupying Romans. To single out the Jews as the killers of Jesus is to gloss over history. Jesus' followers and himself were Jews, they challenged the existing power structure and as is the case more often than not paid the price. The Christian bible mixes history with ideology and should not be taken literally. Look at other sources and you will find many "Profits" from Palestine that suffered the same fate. Let me throw this out there-did Jesus hijack John the Baptist's Act?

All you have to do is ask politely. It is from a poem in old-fashioned Cyraeg/'Welsh', and it means, 'I am in hopes of what is to come'.

Pontius Pilate saw Jesus as a dangerous nationalist of royal ancestry and it was feared that the establishment of His Kingdom would jeopardise Roman rule in Judaea. Jesus was a threat to Roman occupation through his claim to the throne of King David as King of Israel in the royal line of David. Jewish collaborators of the Roman Empire also antagonised Jesus who put himself above religious authorities and the unruly crowd demanding Jesus' death was planted by Jewish leaders who feared Jesus' subverting influence on Judaism as part of their lobbying efforts. But it was the preservation of Roman interests in the region which mattered most for Pilate and he had executed other Jewish troublemakers without hesitation.

Quote:
In contrast to the gracious, benign caricature of Pontius Pilate conveyed in the Gospels, according to noted historians, including Philo and Josephus, the Roman Governor was renowned for “his violence, thefts, assaults, abusive behavior, endless executions, and savage ferocity”15 and as a “cruel despot who executed troublemakers without a trial and ordered his soldiers to randomly attack, beat, and kill scores of Jews.”16 Not surprisingly, this record of Pilate’s brutality is mentioned nowhere in the New Testament. A cruel tyrant such as Pilate would not have hesitated to execute any leader whose followers posed a potential threat to Roman rule. The notion that the Jews would or could demand of Pilate to crucify Jesus is preposterous.

Roman governors were cruel but only in dispensing justice. and as cruel as pilate may have been ,he nevertheless wanted to free J.C. interesting isn't it..

and he would've had it not been for the extortion and blackmail the jews used on him..

The reason I started this thread was hoping to show you the means by which the jews control governments of the world. remember: they use EXTORTION and Blackmail to further their ends.

Depends on whether or not you believe the Indian exile legend (which honestly makes more sense then the supernatural BS in the Bible/Quran).

It's not really proven that the Jews killed Christ, likely the Bible was altered in the early centuries of christianity to say that the Jews killed Christ to support anti- Semitismin those times. The Bible like it or not is used even today in the land of the free to support and deny political movements. So it's not hard to believe that that occurred 1500 years ago.

Ever read the TALMUD ? Did the early christians write this evil book?

Read the Talmud and read where the Jews not only admit to murdering Christ but absolve the Romans. In other words they want all the credit for his murder.

Was the Talmud altered? Next time pick a subject you know something about!!

As the Talmud (and Gemara) were Oral pass downs for most of the history they play....the written versions are very likely dissimilar to the multiple originals....if there is such a thing.

Please post for us the passages you feel state that which you claim.

I know plenty on this subject thank you.

The Talmud was written between 200-500 years after Christ was crucified. so it really isn't a first hand account or even a credible one. During battles between Jews and early Christians the Talmud was written.
During this time there was turmoil among the Jewish sects over which religion was the correct one. At this time also christianity was first legalized in the Byzantine empire.

So I can believe, and think that it is far more likely that the excerpts in the Talmud where it says something to the effect of," there is no reason to feel ashamed because we rightfully executed a blasphemer and idolater," was politically motivated by the Jews at the time.

Its a form of "evangelism" for lack of a better word. mock the pillar of this faith and more people will chose the other.

The fact that it only appears in the Babylonian Talmud in the third and forth century, right when constantine legalized christianity, makes me skeptical of it's authenticity.

Not to mention the Babylonian Talmud contained in it mockery of the gospel of John. Being that the Jews in this time had a lot of freedom in Sasanian Babylonia relative to Christians in Babylon as well as byzantine and Roman empires.

I find the account in the Talmud to be highly suspect, much more likely that the Jewish people of the time were attempting to break the spirit of the early Christians.

all I really get from this is that it is dangerous to believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God. It is a text that is easily altered. Look at the septuagint, it was altered, look at the apocrypha, there are more books that were altered, but this is done for political reasons.
Thanks from tecoyah
