Three suicide bombers carried out a car bomb attack that killed 41 and injured over 200 in Baghdad today. The blasts targeted foreign embassies and happened near the Iranian, Egyptian, and Germany buildings. This attack followed a few other attacks of late, including one on the Green Zone in the capital.
Authorities are blaming the escalation in violence on the recent parliamentary elections. Certainly unfortunate that innocent people have to die over political tensions.
