Representative John Murtha from the 12th Congressional district of Pennsylvania passed away today at the age of 77. He was a Congressman for over 35 years and was the senior Democrat in the House appropriations committee, dealing with funding for the military. May he rest in peace.

A human being dies every two seconds. And you choose to honour a politician over others?

About 25'000 people died yesterday of hunger.

I guess... Stalin was right.

I guess with his kind of dedication to Government he would count for at least 1-million people? He set an example that would keep at least 1-million people alive. A million-in-one person. Wish there were more stalwarts like him.

I would hope any person with good intentions who dies to rest in peace- I merely posted about Congressman Murtha because his death is very significant politically at this time. Being a political forum, I thought it would be relevant and important- this in no way says he was more important than the other 25k people though.
