Says homosexuality can't be cured and only harms people. Evangelicals calling THEMSELVES out, can't say I saw this coming.

Agreed there is no cure. People are wired for sexual preference. Seeking a cure for hetero or homosexuality is as silly as seeking a cure for blue eyes or curly hair.

There are genes for blue eyes and curly hair. None for homosexuality.

Many Christians men are so effeminate that I can't imagine them having much ability to help other men be less homosexual. So, the failure of ex-gay programs means little.

Well, even though gay people are still discriminated in a lot of communities, Boy scouts did take their lead and WENT FOR IT
"In an article published by christianpost.com, I learned that the Boy Scouts of America visited the leaders of the Latter-day Saints, Southern Baptists, and Catholic Church regarding their level of support for a newly proposed policy on gay members of their troupes."

I think it's cool that young people will take responsibility and are willing to go for the team as one and talk about things like this.

This is a wonderful change in the scouts and great to see. Unfortunately (as with Catholic Priests), Previous actions are not forgiven completely because reality sets in.

This is something I don't understand about Christian fundamentalists. They say they are servants of an all loving God, but God hates homosexuality. And they ferrel the need to speak for him. I went to Jesuit school, and in my Bible classes they explains God speaks to individuals through scripture. So if one person us taking what God said to him as what he means for everybody then how are they not trying to play God?

The problem with christianity is everybody thinks they are a profit.

The hypocrisy of so-called Christians who quote Leviticus to slam homosexuals is that they do it while gnawing on a hot dog or after voting for adulterous politicians.
