1. The New York Post on Wednesday released a collection of alleged emails that sensationally purport to expose corruption on behalf of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son.
The alleged emails claim to show Biden’s son Hunter using his father’s political prominence in order to elicit increased monetary compensation from the Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma....
The possibility also exists that the emails could be forged or manipulated and that legitimate photos of Hunter were added to the trove to increase their believability.
“Note that photos, which appear to look genuine, could be there to simply add credibility to forged emails surfaced along with the photos,” Rid said. “This would be a standard tactic in disinformation operations.”....
While the story is still unfolding, the timing of the release also raises questions given its resemblance to the infamous leak of emails and documents in the run-up to the 2016 election....

It is ironical that the unsinkable Donald Trump, who is akin to a leaky boat kept "afloat" by his shameless decadent party, is always digging around for scandals or inventing one (if he finds none at all) to "sink" his opponents. It is more ironical that the most crooked president in American history knows that even one alleged scandal by a family member or relative can torpedo his targeted opponent's political fortunes, while he himself seems to be “immune” to all scandals and wrongdoings.
