Fannie Mae looks for $5.1 billion more

The mortgage GSE is back for more as Fannie Mae said it will be asking for another $5.1 in support from taxpayers. The giant also announced recently a net loss of over 5 billion on the last quarter. This $5 billion request is just anothe rin a line of a lot of money given to Fannie (and Freddie) in order to subsidize the losses they have as a result of the pipedream they helped create during the housing bubble.

True. But too many in the government can't face the fact that the jar is empty. They keep expecting things we can no longer do. I think many free rides will come to an end in the next couple of years.
