as things currently stand ,Iran has the best army in the world , in terms of ground forces. No one ,not even the Iranians claim to have an effective air force defense or credible naval units ;although they are making significant headway in that area.
It would be a long time before they could match the Israelis or USA air-might or naval forces.
But for any country thinking of invading Iran and entering into the nation's heartland ,be prepared to fight the toughest army on earth.
