Iran stops oil sales to France and UK

Iran has stopped oil sales to France and UK in protest on economic sanctions placed the EU on them for the developing nuclear program. The move comes as UN officials go to Tehran to discuss the program. It is largely a symbolic move as the UK and France don't buy much Iranian oil.

True. But it is one more excuse for speculators to jack up the price of oil. Which will probably send the economy down.

Your own speculation of higher gas prices (and others who hold the same sentiment) will probably send gas prices higher too

I will have little effect. I have no gas money for the next couple of weeks. I drive 500 to 1000 miles a year. So I can't cut back much.

If they think someone has a lawn mower overfill they make a big deal out of it. Major gas spill could cause gas shortage!

And if some oil producing country has any kind of problem they blow it up so they can hijack the oil prices.

Buhu, I'm sure David Cameron and Nicolas Sarkozy are crying their eyes out as we speak. Iran means so much to us! Ahmadinejad's efforts are cute though

I never thought of the little guy as "cute". I have always seen him as a picture of evil.

This will hurt Iran a lot more than France and the U.K.

Iran better hope they are not removed from SWIFT. I doubt they will be ejected, but if they are, it would cripple them in a major way.
