OK, is no one going to weigh in on this?

I think she should have lost her crown for lying on her application. The rest of the goofy stuff (Satan is after her in the form of Perez Hilton?) is just that, goofy stuff. But it seems she knew about the photos and lied.

I think Trump let her stay because he wanted the publicity, and needed to drag this out as long as possible.

Trump let her stay because he's poor and needs money, and he's a conservative.

The point is, Miss California is a lier and whenever she is questioned on HER LIE she starts raving about how she is being attacked for being anti-gay WHICH ISN'T THE QUESTION. She hides behind her religion and pretends she's a victim when she really victimized america.

Miss California- please get over your persecution complex and STEP DOWN.

Who cares?

I don't necessarily disagree with Trump. They weren't that dirty. If I remember correctly, they stripped the crowns of the other few because the pictures were fairly hardcore. These were just your standard artsy topless shots.

I do think it's hilarious to see all the excuses though (it was the gay crowd trying to overthrow her, it was just windy that day, etc.)

It's not like it will matter much in the end. Does Miss America even have any publicity a month after the contest?

Personally, I think that she should have lost it. Not because of her views on gay marriage. Not because of her picture. Because she breached her contract and lied about it. But of course it's all up to Trump.

I feel the same about not caring. The only negative is that "she got found out". I wonder how many of the contestants are shaking in their boots having told lies and being dead scared of being found out, such as Miss California has just been.

I think she should be stripped of her crown, clothing and sent straight to my room. At my age though, I'm worried about death, oh well, if she dies, she dies.

I think there are quite a number of people who care, especially young women who are expiring to stardom and see this as a way to get there. It is very hard work to polish and prepare themselves for the event. I missed this year's event, but saw the one last year, and there were some impressive performances by the individuals.
