Monism vs Dualism

Which do you think is the more logical, monism or dualism? Monism takes us closer to God and dualism takes us close to nature. Any comments?

Honestly I don't believe in either of them I believe that the human mind should be more open to the world try to understand both God and nature, after all they are both related. More than people can understand. People can't completely understand both, however can increase their knowledge.

It is a good argument. That is why there are as many as six systems of Indian Philosophical thought!

anything that brings us closer to nature is a good thing in my view. but, I'm a pantheist so..,there you go.

dualism, as I understand it, recognizes the dichotomy between the material and immaterial realms.

Because I believe in God I necessarily believe in dualism because monism (as I understand it) dismisses the notion of God because God is not material. You cannot find him. You cannot weigh him. You cannot quantify him materially... that being true he cannot exist.
