I am no fan of Rush Lambaugh and one such reason is because of the uncouth and uncivilized manner in which he treats many of those who appear on his show. However in this case I have to agree with him completely with one of the two words in which he described Ms. Fluke's employment. I fully support Mr. Limbaugh's description of her occupation when he used the word, "prostitute". Any civilized dictionary or biblical definition of her occupation would label it as being that of a "prostitute", one who sells the use of one's body sexually to another for either monetary or other gain. I myself would declare her a prostitute and will not apologize for doing so when the dictionary and Bible declare that is what she is. Now this doesn’t mean that individual must forever bear that name when it is possible that person can find other ways of making a living or securing an objective. Many such persons repented of that occupation and became outstanding individuals. One such example from the Bible itself is Mary Madeline.
This same type situation can equally be applied for descriptions of other sexually immoral practices. You are a homosexual or lesbian or have that orientation even if you don't engage in the actual act but have sexual desires for the same sex and you are a heterosexual if you have fulfillment or desires for the opposite sex. You are an adulterer if you have sexual intercourse with others besides your marriage partner. You are a fornicator if you have sexual intercourse with those who are not married. You are bestial if you have sexual intercourse with animals. These are the normal, proper and Biblical terms to be used period!
Now Mr. Limbaugh and others could have had a grandstand play of words with her last name, Fluke, and do it with full dictionary approval. If we want to push things to the limit we could could call her a fluke concerning her sexual deeds as the word also connotes deviancy or abnormal behavior which the Bible clearly states; in fact it goes so far to call such sinful acts as ABOMINATION before the Lord. Now if Ms Fluke has a problem with that she needs to take her case beyond our judicial courts system and the court of public opinion for settlement but to the Judge of The Supreme Court of Heaven and the Entire Universe and plead her case with Him. After all He is the author of these laws and their enforcer. Good luck, Ms. Fluke, you will certainly need it.
In closing I know one thing--I would not want my first or last name to be, "Fluke"; I would go out and change it. I feel it is worse than either a first or last man's name being "Sue” which Johnny Cash so amply remonstrated against when he sang "A Boy Named Sue" I even changed my first name people generally used in addressing me, "Dick", as it was used so many times in a very perverted disgusting sense, to "Richard" so I have set the example for you, Ms. Fluke.
