Advocates assert it creates a moral high ground when dealing with other states. I don't think that they have given that much thought.

I don't think " Moral High Ground means much to those other countries. It was just something that had to be shoved up our butts at the last minute. We seem to do way too much business that way these days.:unsure:

that was largely the point...

moral high ground is meaningless for those who don't care and ineffective for everyone else
