the sci-fi movie gattaca made this prediction back in 1997:

In the movie they show an old Citroën or some old European car drive up silently and the driver gets out and plugs it in.

Now it is happening! I love it. Currently they just do old porches and VW's, but the possibilities are really cool.

I'd love to have a new electric engine with tesla batteries in in my 71 ford f100.

A classic, convertible mustang with Tesla's best battery pack and the engine compartment converted to a frunk would be my dream car.
