Let's calm down with the conspiracy theories...........

Conspiracy my arse. They say it right in the open for all to hear.

I am getting a sense from the pattern of your posts that you're a super-liberal, aren't you. You like gays getting married, you think the GOP is rotten, you turn a blind eye to Islamo-Fascists and racist anti-America organizations like La Raza, you're afraid of hurting the feelings of people who don't like us...... .....what's the deal man? That avatar does not set well with your leftist remarks.

You guys haven't heard of starve the beast? Go do some reading, it's hugely popular.

And no I am not a "super-liberal". I (try to) look at things objectively and don't care about the symbols. I am also not a big fan of monikers because they mean different things to different people. Call me what you want, but stop with the liberal conservative crap and talk about the actual issues.

Having been here for a while, I see moving politically in recent months. Just saying.:p

I actually have not moved on the issues all too much (aside from some stuff on monetary policy and taxation systems possibly, but it is nothing I've described here since we don't have many people talking about those important things here [instead focuses on this he said/she said nonsense]). The real changes I've gone through in thought is in the realization that both sides are bought and the current system severely flawed. I also realize that at times politics and DC aren't the big power holders.

The reason you might see it as a change in ideology is because I am now less sympathetic to the GOP, although still severely unhappy with the Dems too. Since we seem to have more conservative posters (including you), I find myself arguing against the "conservatives" or "GOP" more, but that is just because I see faults in their nonsense too. If we liberals making illogical and irrelevant posts, I would most certainly point out why I feel they are looking at the wrong things too.

Since we are straight talking I will confess I am not happy with any of my choices in the upcoming elections. I will probably vote for the independent in our governors race. I don't like doing that as I always felt that was throwing away my vote. But I don't like the running mates of either major parties team. And I don't really like the head of the ticket enough to get past it. As for the president, wish we had "none of the above" available.

More of your "nonpartisan" crap that doesn't make sense. Liberals and conservatives talk about the issues all the time and take different positions on them.

That doesn't mean they take all positions available, especially in the realm of modern DC.

In this case it will be that or not vote. The two other guys just don't pass the smell test for me.

The issue for a voter has ALWAYS been what's the best (or least worst) choice? No election is ever going to present you with a perfect candidate - they very idea is ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as the "they're all the same" mantra. Example: Do you think the $14.5 trillion debt harms you? And what party was it which recently was trying to stop the nation destroying spending that has increased the national debt by $7 trillion since obama took over? Was it republicans or democrats?

Yeah I get all that crap. I am not looking for perfect. And that has very little to do with who I want for governor of Kentucky. I just don't like any of these guys or any of their ideas. So why would I vote for a man that I would not invite into my house.:p
