Questions to Bernie Sanders

I like Charlie Rose's program very much; I watch it and learn from it, nearly every weekday.
On October 26, during an interview with Charlie Rose, Bernie Sanders agitated for tuition-free public universities, for raising minimum wage, etc. How can a moral person disagree with such proposals? But his agitation for social justice via a progressive socialist revolution against the top one percent of American private property owners scared me. It reminded me of Lenin's agitation agains injustice in Russia, and of a Polish revolutionary song "Burzhujow do pracy zagnamy." My father, a Polish communist, also believed that the only way to eliminate social injustice was to destroy capitalism. But he was arrested in Moscow, and sent to a Gulag camp, where he died, two years later, at the age of 36.

My questions to Sanders, if I had a chance of interviewing him, would be different from those asked by Charlie. I want to know what Sanders thinks about proletarian dictatorship, and and how he plans to avoid Gulag-like camps in America.

He's not a communist. The problem with communism is that it's anarchist. Either the whole system falls apart or as civic institutions are dismantled, a strongman takes advantage of the situation. Sanders isn't advocating that, only that we shift from a profit motive to a system that provides social justice and promotes worker owned businesses.

Sanders is a bit out there, but in comparison to say...Carson the man is a freakin' genius.

Of course, so is pretty much anyone.

Regardless, the man is a sideshow to HillBill anyway.

Not really. Sanders has the 1st 2 Primary states in the bag. Hillary has SC no question. Arizona will decide it. If sanders wins that's 3 early victories which will create momentum like it did for Obama. If Hillary wins then she's still in the fight but it's still a close race. If Hillary wins and continues to win later states and maintain a solid lead in polling then you can call it for her.

There's a reason the debate schedule is retarded and Sanders always polls well after despite the DNC's best efforts. The DNC is obviously for Hillary but the Dems themselves seem undecided still.

I am willing to call the Repub primary for Carson assuming nothing crazy happens. He's the clear frontrunner and as more drop out their supporters will rally behind him if for no other reason then he's not Trump or Bush.

Let's see if I've got this right. You're comparing a dribbling senile old communist who is stupid enough to think colleges will ever be free, you're comparing this idiot with a man who separated the brains of Siamese twins in the womb? You're comparing Sanders to a neuro surgeon? Seriously?

How is it stupid? Many universities used to be free (and extremely exclusive) until the 20th century so obviously it works. He's also not advocating that all collages/universities become free, only the public schools which are already free K-12. He's even proposed a new (insignificant) tax that would pay for it and a universal healthcare system. This isn't pie in the sky stuff, he's explained the details of everything he wants to do and the math works.

FREE means the college doesn't charge any tuition at all. FREE means the professors show up every day and pontificate hour after hour with ZERO compensation. Is THAT your testimony?

Public schools are not free. There's NO WAY those overpaid hacks in the classrooms are working for FREE. The school can't even open without costing money for electricity. Where are you getting this notion that ANYTHING is free?

It's called 90 percent on EVERYBODY. And it won't work.

It has been tried before and it has failed.

The math does not work at all. Forty years of a welfare state spending 100 TRILLION DOLLARS IN THE PROCESS and having MORE POOR PEOPLE THAN EVER BEFORE should one day give you a clue.

Sanders' idiotic ideas have been tried and they have failed.

No, free in this context means tuition. You know that, so stop with the intellectual dishonesty. And no, it's called a 1% tax on investment transactions. And yes, the 90% tax worked fine, it was our most prosperous period.
