Agreed.:) I would hope most churches are better run than most governments.:p

Sadly too many from all walks of life are power hungry and think they should run everything.
True but dont you think that religious leaders impose...they try and are successful more often than not...to impose their 'beliefs' on people as a whole?

Maybe in some cases. The last few years the government has been doing the "imposing" in my world. I never have any religion even try to impose in my life.
the bought out politicians and those that paid them are almost daily making my life harder.

Just so ya know. I ran some people from a local church off. They were visiting a couple of times a month. I listened and read their little books. But then they caught me having a bad day. They never came back or bothered me again. So it was my fault they came as many times as they did.

I actually hear more about religion here than in my daily life. The people I ran away have not been seen or heard from in 4 or 5 years. And that was the last contact I had with any church. So that is not all that imposing to me.:D

It is still all around you- to suggest the church does not have an agenda or that many don't try to impose that agenda is just not true. It is their right to do it, but comparing government to religion- the argument is there that both impose a lot. Without the numbers we can't really come to a sound conclusion on which does it more though.

And even you still have religion being imposed on you- Santorum kills two birds with one stone.

I never suggested the church does not have an agenda. I just just said they have not imposed on me in years. As for Santorum , the only thing he is killing is the republican party. He is so over the top that he has about as much chance of being elected president as I do. I have said it before and will say one more time. The one in office or the clowns wanting the office are not up to the job. This country needs a real leader. And not one in sight.
