If we see Sanjay Dutt, he was convicted in a TADA case. So it is absolutely clear that he might not be a good politician.
Except this, he has joined Samajwadi Party which has many criminals. His sister statement suggests his choice of party is not good. She said, "I am glad he(his father) is not alive to see this".

Well i totally agree with Udit on this.
I think we the common people have a really short memory and tend forget thing real soon.
Well i would like remind you people of some amazing facts about our very own Mr Sanjay Dutt
At high he was a drug addict ,then he went to a rehab
after that he was suspected of involvement in Mumbai blasts back in 1993
and was charged with keeping illegal arms.

Doing a few a good movies doesnt really means that your a good man
isnt it...

I also want to add some more things. He wants to fight from the parliamentary seat "Lucknow" against Mr. Atal Bihari Bajpai who was one of the great leaders India has ever produced.
If we talk about his personality, he left his wife and daughter. He married to girl who is even younger than his daughter.
So he is not at all a good person.

Sanju baba,
You must keep quite if you love your father. He was such a great person in reel and real that you can't take his place.
Her sister said very right. There should be a rule that only graduate can stand in elections. This will make a shortlist excluding VIP(Very highly Infectious Paapi).
God bless Lalu ji.

If Indian politics is going to have such great leaders then I pity India politics.
Already the Indian politics has a bad face.
Some of the Indian politicians are are laughing stocks, so now we have one more contender in the list..
Sanju Baba have mercy on us !!!
We cannot handle this now!!!

He'll surely win as he's much popular all over India. After him doing Gandhigiri in Bollywood, people might expect him to improve the condition of Indian Politics. ;) And I have heard that its not his wish, its his wife Manyata who forced him to join Politics. His family members are also not happy by his decision to join politics.

Anyway, every actor nowadays is jumping into politics using their fame & name to win. I don't think that they have much interest in improving the country's condition, they are just trying to secure their future.

this has been the problem with Indian political system.they will elect people who are movie stars and criminals.I am not saying that movie stars are criminals but i think that movie stars can be good politicians.look at Jaya bacchan,Hema malini and govinds etc.these are actors and politicians but i don't think that they are good in politics ass they merely even go to the assembly.
