The Bilderberg Group

I was recently at Barnes and Noble when I saw a book about the Bilderberg Conference; a once a year event that is exclusive to only some of the top names in politics, business, etc. Even reporters aren't allowed at the conference. This has led to speculation that the group is doing something fishy; such as trying to set up a New World Order or a world government. I just found out about it, so I am reading about it still, but was wondering if anyone else had any info/opinions on the Bilderberg group and the conspiracies that surround them.

I don't know about the Bilderberg Conference, but you have my full attention, and I would love to hear what you think about the book. I would not be surprised, as I definitely believe that there are fraternities like these in which economic decisions are made that significantly influences big business in the developing countries of the world.

I do sometimes wonder what they do, since they're very secretive.

We can probably have an idea of what they do by who the members are. I imagine there's a members list kicking around - anyone got access? We could have a shot at working this out together.

Unfortunately I did not buy the book, but I think I might go pick it up soon or at the very least do some reading on Bilderberg online. I'll let you know what I find

Probably easier said than done since there are books on the subject and people don't know what actually happens. There are some known members though- like in the 2009 Bilderberg conference there was Tim Geithner (treasury secretary), World Bank President Robert Zoellick, European commission head Jose Manuel Barroso among others.
