Fascist Canuck, et al,

To suggest that America (or its allies) are perfect; and everything they do is correct, is an altered state of reality.

 @ the moron who would suggest that terrorism is OUR FAULT.

Fucking liberals. No wonder we fascists wish to line up the lot of you and empty lead shells into your skulls. This is absolutely one of the dumbest posts I have ever read.

(COMMENT)

There are always consequences. The development of terrorism is an unintended consequence of American Foreign Policy as it has been executed over the last half century. But it didn't originally (post-WWII) target US interests. That came later.

I completely agree. No country or the rules they supposedly abide by are completely perfect. There's no possible way it could be perfect. Humans are a species that like conflict at some point or another, and this is generally risen when we voice our own opinions. There's nothing anyone can do to stop terrorism, because terrorism is really a broad term. It's used in so many ways and people DO have different opinions. Once the conflict of interest arises and other people don't consider the other sides interests as their own, that's when problems start.

Relative to terrorism, there are ways to mitigate the development and growth of terrorism, through the careful control of the environment and situations that spawn terrorism. But that requires of level of knowledge, skills and abilities far beyond that available to the US Foreign Service or the White House.

For now, since the fray has started, the US needs to pullback and regroup. If the US is to be a power force and leader in the world, first it has to repair its own house.

Sounds like the old "blame America first" opinion to me. And the whole damn world needs to know America is no longer rich. We wasted most of what we had, a lot of it on those resentful countries.

I can tell you something that does cause "[FONT=&quot]resentment". When someone writes a long contrary opinion in the effort to sound superior to the ones reading it. Like I am just smarter than most, I care more than most. I have all the answers.

You be as "[FONT=&quot] contrite " as you want to be. But when someone decides they want to terrorize someone they take their own risk.

I agree with you. It is the real fact. Thanks for sharing.

'Terrorism' emerges when people are rendered otherwise powerless, always.

The truth sometimes hurts but it must be faced if we are to have any hope of bringing back our constitutional republic.
