In most courts, if a judge has any personal connection to a person in a case that they have to preside over, it is customary for them to recuse themselves from that case to remove any possible conflict of interest. I heard on the news the other day that the Supreme Court has taken up the case as to whether or not Trump had immunity from criminal acts that he committed while president. Well three of those judges became Supreme Court justices because Trump chose them. You can't get much more of a personal connection than that! Sure, the senate had to approve Trump's choices. But they still wouldn't be there if not for Trump.
So when this case came up as to whether or not Trump has immunity from criminal acts committed while he was president, did the three justices actually appointed by Trump recuse themselves from judging the case? No! Which has clearly placed the Supreme Court into the realm of a farce. A parody of jurisprudence. It is disgusting.
