Tim Pawlenty is getting a lot of attention for his plan for recovery in which he proposes large spending cuts and tax cuts as a means to improve the economic situation in the country. I have not looked at the plan in detail yet, but some of his predictions are definitely very optimistic and likely not realistic. The deficit issue is also a glaring one, especially with the tax cuts.
