US Senate passes National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)

1. You Wenze, a spokesperson for the Foreign Affairs Committee of China’s National People’s Congress (NPC), expressed “strong dissatisfaction” with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), passed overwhelmingly in the US Senate this week, Reuters reported....

2. If the well-known Chinese writer Lu Xun is still living today, he might respond to Mike Pence's wrong interpretation of his quote in this way: "Uncle Sam obviously looks down at foreigners as beasts but regards himself as royal highness."

As for China, the response to US interference is simple. No more strong dissatisfaction or protest or telephone conversation, just go for tit-for-tat. China should also pass a National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA) with the following requirements:

(a) To support the military strength of any country that opposes US hegemony as what China had done during the Vietnam War.

(b) To recognize all the so-called Indian nations as independent nations and support their application for UN membership.

(c) To support American Muslims, natives, Latinos and migrants in their struggle for human rights and liberty.

(d) To require a report on the treatment of American Muslims, natives, Latinos and migrants in the US every year.

3. As an analogy of the passing of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) by the US Senate, I have to "travel through the time tunnel" to modify one of my previous "Psycho" analogies in the forum:

The victim asked the Psycho: "How can I fight against you when I am bound hand and foot in the phase four of the duel?”

The Psycho replied: "I have heard from reliable sources that you can shatter glass with your piercing voice. If you let loose an earthshaking high note during the fourth phase of our duel, my eardrums and internal organs can be shattered to pieces."

"Tell me about the phase five of the duel," asked the victim.

"In addition to all the previous restrictions, I shall put a gag in your mouth for the fifth phase of the duel," said the Psycho.

"How can I fight against you with all those restrictions?" asked the victim.

"I have heard from my men that you broke a hole in my beautiful border wall when you banged your head against it last year. Hence you can roll like a ball on the ground and try to break my leg bones with your head in the phase five of the duel," replied the Psycho.

The victim asked: "How about the phase six of the duel?"

The Psycho laughed: "Then I shall have no choice but to decapitate you for the final phase of the duel, in addition to all the previous restrictions."

"You're all talk and no action. Let us go for the phase one of our duel now," suggested the victim.

The Psycho led his victim out of the dungeon to a garden. Standing beside a large pond, the Psycho tied his victim's right hand behind the back so that the victim could only punch with his left hand and kick with either one of his legs.

In the midst of the fighting, the victim asked: "Why are you scratching your head all this while?"

The Psycho smiled: "I can't understand why you are unhurt and seem not to feel any pain at all after being punched and kicked so many times. Instead you seem to enjoy my punches and kicks, and respond with bathroom singing and sutra chanting."

The victim replied: "I am not singing or chanting but protesting and expressing my strong dissatisfaction at your merciless bashing."

The Psycho laughed: "I'm sick and tired of listening to your bathroom singing and sutra chanting. Take action now! Hit me if you can!"

Before he could finish speaking, he yelled out in pain and fell into the pond, shouting “Help! Help!” after he was kicked on the right heel. :D

As the victim regarded himself as a “junzi” or a Confucian man of honour , he leaped into the water to save the victim in spite of his life-and-death situation. o_O

After the Psycho was pulled out of the water, he asked his victim: "How do you know the secret of my Achilles heel?"

The victim laughed: "Since you have accused my people of stealing your country's jobs besides cybertheft and all other crimes under the heavens, I am sure you won't be surprised if I claim to know you inside out including your Achilles heel."

Once upon a time, there lived two pigeons. They were husband and wife. They spend their day looking for food. In the evening they would come and rest on their favorite tree in the forest.

One evening, the wife returned home early. A usual she was waiting for her husband, when suddenly it started raining. She started to worry. “Where are you, my dear? You never get so late," she whispered to herself.

Just then she saw a bird-catcher coming towards her. In a cage he had a pigeon. It was her husband. “OH no, what shall I do now" I wish I can help my husband," she said. She desperately tried to distract the bird-catcher by flapping her wings, but all in vain.

Soon, it stopped raining. “Brrr! It is so cold," said the bird-catcher. His clothes were wet. He decided to sit under the same tree where the two pigeons lived.

The poor wife sat by her husband’s cage. And she started to cry. The husband said. “Do not feel sad, dear. We now have a guest. This man is shivering and hungry. He needs your help." Hearing this, the wife flew around getting dry twigs. She made a fire for the bird-catcher. Then she looked at the bird-catcher and said, “You are our guest, since I have no food to offer, I will jump into this fire. In few minutes I will become an edible item for you. You can eat me."

By now, the bird-catcher was overwhelmed by the hospitality of the humble pigeon couple. He at once stopped the wife jumping into the fire.

He opened the cage and set the husband free. “I have been cruel and selfish. I will never trap any bird in my net again," said the bird-catcher and went away. The two pigeons were happy to be reunited.

4. China on Monday expressed strong dissatisfaction with the United States over the negative contents distorting and smearing China's military development and on issues relating to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Xinjiang as well as prohibited purchase of Chinese products, in the US 2020 National Defense Authorization Act, said a Foreign Ministry spokesperson...

5. The phrase "smear campaign" is a euphemism for all the US hostile moves against China since Trump assumed power. The US seems to be treating Chinese protests and "strong dissatisfaction" as bathroom singing or sutra chanting. It may even think it has caught China sleeping like a log.

The US is not stupid to waste so much time "smearing" China. In actuality, it is engaging in a malicious campaign to break up China by sowing unrest and supporting independence in Hong Kong and other parts of China, particularly Taiwan and western China.

It's high time for China to call a spade a spade, and respond with tit-for-tat. The US is not the only country that knows how to pass legislations, bills or laws to sabotage other countries. It should know others can do equally well to the US. :)

China has shown its own aggression in many ways to many countries and has serious human rights issues that are inherent in its form of rule. China is also extremely dependent on western commerse and goodwill to avoid collapse whereas we would be fine without its goods. China is in a position similar to Russia in that it relies on force and manipulation to maintain stability in its system and population which creates vulnerability. They are aware of this or would likely have already done as you recommend.

As a proverb goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words," whatever crimes you mention in your post have already been committed by the US. Surely you don't want to end up like that "charcoal guy" in your vehicle one fine day?

According to my research China's economy has already been collapsing for at least the last decade . I don't know where to lay the blame for their steady decline . It seems metal manufacturing is taking one of the biggest hits with many huge factories closing . Entire towns becoming ghost towns as jobs leave . What will be the end result if this trend continues would be pure speculation . A look back at history will show Japan's reaction when they found themselves short of oil for economic development . They declared war and invaded China , entering into the early stages of world war two . Later combining forces with Germany . --- Personally I could do without China's cheap slave labor products . Regardless whether China collapses , slings a few nukes our way or cyber attacks I would rather see us disengage with all trade with China . ----- Just for entertainment purposes I will say here , I am raising my 13 year old Grandson . We have talked so much about a China attack that every time we lose electricity the usual response from my Grandson is " that Chinese man is messing with our electricity again " or " recon it is an E.M.P." .

China's cockiness is doing them in. They bit off way more than they can chew on the world stage.
