VW cheats the EPA? now EPA be mad.

VW came up with a way to beat the EPA and increase mileage. your thoughts?

I suspect the personality type of these includes a strong desire to appear unique .

i used to be a member of a forum with a high population of vw tdi owners. many seemed to have a "holier than thou" attitude about having a tdi. they were unique and special and of the elect for owning one. in addition many seemed to be liberal democrats and quasi pro-environment.

i wish i could laugh in their face right now about the vw tdi fallout, but alas they banned me from their forum.




the irony is rich and quite beautiful:

pro-environmental folk ~ hurting environment
pro-liberal big government folk ~ getting burned by big government.

i do not want to over-generalize here. there are some very good and decent tdi owners. aufgablassen being one.
