In the last half-century, peanut butter & jelly has become an American icon- a true
cultural phenomenon. In fact, the average American will have eaten 1,500 peanut butter
and jelly (PB&J) sandwiches by the time they graduate high school! A staple for many

Once again in the turning course of time it is here again---the melancholy anniversary of the most dreadful day in American history, the day that did so much to blight the shining possibilities of this continent. I seek shelter in the shade of cypresses, en deuil et crêpe noir, and weep at...

Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right
I have always wondered when, in this ever-so-gloriously free land, I would ever find anything about the nuts-and-bolts history of who is running the Carnival of Hysteria more-and-more absurdly...
The 1860 presidential election was a chaotic time. The Republican Party had 7 candidates at their convention and after 3 rounds of voting (and buying votes with promises of government contracts and cabinet positions) Lincoln was chosen. A man so weak he didn't qualify to appear on any southern...

If you had the chance to spend a week in any time in history which would it be.
I would probably spend a week in the early human civilization. It has always amazed me as to how they survived in those times.
The department of History in colleges should be bestowed with epigraphy and numismatic clubs as well. Numismatics has got a lot to do with history. They go well together.
Should history be considered from the epic times or after the epic times? Every country has its own epic period. What about history of that country? Should it be related to the particular epic period too?
How about the idea of holding history congress once in say 3 years or so. I am not sure whether any congress of such type is being held anywhere. If so please let me know. It should be a confluence of all history scholars and admirers.
I want to know about a few well-visited history sites on the web. If they are numismatics related they would really make a good reading though. Share if you know.
I just want to know which is the best book on history of England. I have read some books on the subject but I have not come across a book with the best of information.
