And....so it begins.

Meuller has now empaneled a grand jury which indicates he is completing investigation and moving toward prosecution. Trump now has a single option available to him which will immediately lead to impeachment proceedings. He can still try to fire the prosecutor (actually get someone else to do it) but if he does it spells his death nell.
The next few months are gonna be messy and brutal.

The witch hunt for phantom wrongdoing continues.....

Mueller’s close relationship to the key witness, James Comey, creates a disqualifying conflict of interest forbidden by the special counsel law (28 CFR 600.7 and 45.2). Yet Mueller has made no move to recuse himself from the case. And neither has his boss, Acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who finds himself presiding over the investigation as both prosecutor and witness since as he authored the memo advising President Trump to fire Comey.
Tell that to the Grand Jury.....

I remember a grand jury investigated an affair between Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky in the 1990s as well as allegations against the president, stemming from the Whitewater real estate venture in Arkansas. I think it's the tool of a political game between Republicans and Democrats.

Actually, it is a well established and tested means of gathering information for prosecution of crime. It worked as intended with Clinton by leading to his crimes and impeachment. The results can seem political in the end but, the process in not.
In the case of Donald Trump it will obviously seem political if only because he and his followers constantly scream it is and believe it..but it is not.

My gut feeling is that by this time next year he will have resigned in order to avoid impeachment.
I also find this a likely scenario......though he may not be bright enough to do so and will be imprisoned on RICO charges regardless. His kids have got to be sweating bullets and contemplating cooperation to avoid a similar fate....Daddy should be watching his back VERY carefully.

And THIS ladies and gentlemen is why you don't go stabbing everyone in the back and throwing the corpses under every passing bus.

you are spot on. its a political tool and its the new low of the left and will be repeated with future elections, likely by both sides.

if you didn't win the election , don't work on a better message, instead work hard to sabotage your enemies moves (that would help America) at every turn then shout from the rooftops:

"Look he's not getting his promises met!"

The left is a virus.

'The left' as the GOP turns on trump and his own administration collapses. If you keep projecting rather than asking why your side is failing, you won't fix anything.

That link has nothing to do with your outrageous statement! Try again!:rolleyes:
That your intellectual abilities cannot grasp the obvious does not mean anyone else suffers this affliction. The GOP failed to enact a primary goal(Obamacare repeal) after many years of yelling it because of inability to function as a Party due to disfunction....another word for "Broken". This is but one of any examples not to even mention the effect of their leaders "Problems" preventing any momentum toward tax reform, infrastructure, Immigration.....etc.

The Repubs look a lot like the Whigs pre-Civil War. For that matter the Dems look like, well, themselves during the same period (though the split is liberal and SocDem/socialist, not liberal and conservative). All that's left is for the RNC not be able to nominate anyone and the DNC nominate 2 different people in 2020 and we'll be right back to 1860, civil war and all.

Interesting....No comments from the peanut gallery?
You posted it and then when it had only been 2 hours, you wondered why no response from the peanut gallery.

Maybe you're just impatient?

Or maybe you've just reached a saturation point with "gotcha", "the sky is falling", and "I'm getting my popcorn" threads? (Think 7forever and JFK posts)

Or maybe no one posted because everyone agrees with your analysis and hopes the worst for their president and the worst for their country?

For me I didn't respond right away because I don't usually post later in the day.

MY side never wins, had a decent showing in the Dem Primary at least. And your side won't win a national election for 20 years after Trump.
