Wonder what the hold up is (refer paragraph below) and why are there only little information available for the Justice Department, when this article in the Press is loaded with plenty of details?
Little has emerged about the Afghan's death, which the Justice Department is investigating. The Associated Press has learned the dead man's name, as well as new details about his capture in Pakistan and his Afghan imprisonment.

You don't suppose powerful interests are embarrassed?
I am more on the wavelength of the paradox in the article itself. On the one hand the article says that there is very little information available, yet at the same time it has loaded the article with plenty of factoids. Maybe not all the "facts" in the article have been verified yet?

Maybe both? Although we probably have a problem here that the Government Branch which is investigating the issue so that facts can be verified, is also the one that is very careful not to admit anything. One would probably need an independent enquiry for this?
