Gordon Duff is a Marine combat veteran of the Vietnam War that has worked on veterans and POW issues for decades and consulted with governments challenged by security issues.

The following are excerpts from Gordon Duff's April 04, 2019 article headlined "Is America Dying?"

Seattle has long been seen by other Americans as a gleaming city,...

But that changed. You see, the rest of America has become a toilet. Cultural degeneration, drugs, economic disaster, a nation with untreated mentally ill, tens of millions of addicts and the largest prison population in the world couldn’t hide it forever.

The “great toilet” of America had to “flush” sometime and when it did, certain cities, bastions of permissiveness and liberal values, where there to accept the effluent. Among those, San Francisco and Seattle, now America’s leading cities in property crime, addiction and homelessness.

These are also cities where a moderate working-class home can cost $1 million.

....Drugs are a key component to the lives of every American, millions of methamphetamine addicts and tens of millions of opioid addicts, legalized marijuana and a culture based on gratification and ambivalence.

The culture of drugs that is now running America had its beginnings long ago....

Drugs had always been the business of America’s “Mainline” families, the Cabots and Astors, or rather the Cabotas and Astorgas were one to trace their real origin to the ancient Sephardic banking consortiums of 16th century Italy.....

One might ask why a nation would subject itself, its own people, particularly those who blindly support political leaders whose policies are destructive to their own supporters and constituents, to a life of hopelessness and potential radicalization.

Why would a nation assume political and economic policies that put millions on the streets to parasite off of and embattle those around them fostering anarchy and crime....

We will only die in the highly unlikely scenario of 2020 being a disastrous election (i.e. Dimms keep house & win the WH).

the left is a virus that destroys its host and then has nothing left to feed off of,...so it blames the host it just destroyed.

America doesn't have to die, but it needs to change soon in order to survive. Capitalism is of course the anwer for America but it must be 'socially' responsible capitalism and not greedy antisocial capitalism which only benefits the 1 or 2% of the most wealthy.

Bernie Sanders was suggesting just that in the last presidential election, and so was Trump, but unfortunately Trump lied and the Dem party establishment destroyed Bernie's chances in favour of Hillary.

No Americans, Bernie is not a socialist. That is, according to the standards set by the rest of the world's capitalist countries. Those countries are the happiest countries in the world today.

Let's talk about it now!
And btw, I'm a Canadian capitalist.

Americans have a false idea on what makes up the left. The left in America is nothing more left than Bernie Sanders and he's not left in world standards. He would still be rightist for the standards of the happiest capitalist countries of the world.

Yeah, Sanders is relatively less extreme. But there are many lefty bottom feeders that are quite extreme indeed, including others not even running (i.e. AOC).

The bottom line in spite of the extremes trying to DESTROY America, we swill survive & thrive!

I would suggest that people just like AOC are America's future. What could any rational person object to in her politics?

Americans can't hide the fact that they're getting cheated out of a decent life by the wealthiest 1 or 2%. If your constitution upholds that standard and promotes it then your constitution needs to be amended. I'm not saying that it does, but it's more likely that it's being interpreted in wrong ways.

America comes no where close to making the cut on the top ten.

The average Cuban is living a happier life than the poorest Americans. Universal health care puts an entirely different light on poverty!

Simply if her ideas are actually enacted, America's would go bankrupt, and prosperity would go down the toilet and never come back! That's all.
