population growth and solutions?

So what is your take on the population of the earth?

I'm of the belief that it is too high. I've heard countering views from economist thinking that says we need more births to prop up the oldies already here.

and I've heard theists argument that each human is God's creation, etc.

I say we work to decrease the population. the planet can only take so much from humans. look at the waste/garbage islands in the pacific. the consumption of one human being over the course of life would be staggering if you could see/measure it.

There's so much talk about global warming/climate change but the best way to affect this is to have fewer people.

so some solutions:

* stop rewarding births. no tax breaks, maybe tax penalties.

* more death sentences to violent criminals, to include child molesters, rapists, etc.

* allow the terminal a painless out if they chose

so what are your thoughts? I understand this may be controversial. I figured that this is a fair forum for such topics.

thank you. good day and God bless.

also criminals of a serious offense could have their reproduction potential ended to curtail (over time) evil oriented genealogy.
(nothing horrific needed, just vasectomy or tubes tied, etc)

You sound like a HITLER follower!!!

If that was true, there would be ANARCHY in Australia. Genetics has little to do with criminality.
no need to say such an awful thing. I love the Jews.

Anywho,
when considering population growth issues, preventing the creation of potential miscreants hardly seems beyond reason. the measurement is behavior, not race, religion or orientation. behavior.

BEHAVIORAL GENETICS: THE SCIENCE OF ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOR

First, behavioral genetic studies of twins and adoptees have demonstrated that heredity plays a role in antisocial behavior, including various forms of aggression and criminality, by finding greater concordance for such behavior in genetically related individuals compared to nonrelatives living in the same environment.
It is not all on genetics of course, but it certainly plays a role and when you consider that the criminal parent then creates the environment of the child, they have a virtual monopoly on influence.

In my opinion the human population on this planet has reached a point where equilibrium is off and the natural correction process has been primarily removed by our technology and advances in medicine. Eventually nature will find a way, (as she always does) and decimate our population back into a manageable level.

Either that or we will do so ourselves and something else will become the dominant....Time is a nasty dominatrix.
