Welcome to the forum. One of the places that I want to go before my life is over is Australia. I've met many people from there and they all seem very kind.Hi everyone. I'm a retired Australian female ex nurse.
I like gardening , computer games, detective stories and talking politics.
I look forward to meeting new thinking people.
The Chartists were a worthwhile group of people and Australia at that time would have been a fairly rough place to live. Of course , many Australians would say it's no different now! I quite like living here.Croeso/Welcome Sallyally. Australia gets a mixed press in my family - one of my Wife's lot had to escape there in the Chartist days after doing time for armed rebellion, and the descendants have grown unduly holy and quarrelsome. One of my sons-in-law was born there and is torn between never going back and going back tomorrow, and the only friend I have there lives in the Gold Coast, drinks his head off and refuses to learn how to use a computer, so I get no testimony I can take seriously!
