A young woman from Texas will have her case heard in the Supreme Court in which she challenges that public universities should not be able to pick students based on race to make the student bodies more diverse. The case is controversial and the first time since 2003 that the highest court is looking at a case involving the topic.

Thoughts? I think race should not be considered at public schools.

You would do away with black scholarships?
If they are public, yes. I don't see why skin color should boost one candidate's chances over another's, especially if the society we are trying to create (or pretend to have) is about racial equality.

I agree 100%. And I do think "pretend" is the right word.:)
