How would you identify your political views?

Some additional questions:

1. Liberty or Security?

2. Nationalism or Internationalism?

3. Hawk or Dove?

Meanwhile, for me, left libertarianism.

1. Liberty
2. Internationalism
3. Dove

@ Dodge: I just figured it'd be nice to get our general views on the table.

I apologise to those whose views can't be defined - there's the other/abstain box for you.

And to the views i missed out, there are only ten options. So, sorry.

I voted centre, but my opinions vary and it depends in the context of the subject that is being discussed. For me I believe you sometimes have to give up some of your security to have liberty, and/or you have to give up some liberty to give up security. I am both for nationalism and internationalism depending what we are talking about. I'm against extremes of nationalism however, such as Hitler. I'm probably more of a hawk than a dove.

And here I was trying to keep my views secret.:D Thinking people would never guess the answers to those questions. I wonder how many people thought I was a black professor from Connecticut?:p

It's the most accurate way to describe me. I'm pro-gun, anti-abortion, supportive of a strong military, pro-war, ect. yet I support worker rule of the workplace, producers as opposed to manipulators controlling the wealth, public ownership of all big business, a social safety net for the less fortunate, ect.

Kind of an odd mix, I know and that hardly does justice to my views, just a quick summery.

As am I.

Maybe what could be said is that you're economically socialist and socially conservative?
Thus the term conservative socialist. Conservative in general (obviously, I'm a Southerner :p) but socialist on the subject of economics and the politics that are related to it.

A Leftist conservative, who'd of thought? :D

I don't know why, but that reminded me of what happened the other day. A friend of mine asked me to take a political test for his chart, so i did. His chart was basically finding the position of our mates in town (we live in a really rural area). He's a hardcore socialist - and he was shocked i was that close to him on the left/right scale. I'm sure i'm further left than him, only the test doesn't understand what libertarian socialism is. He was shocked at how libertarian i was. He said "wow, according to this, you must be a complete anarchist". I was like :D. Haha.

Are you sure this is correct for centre-right? It describes where I am, but I would call it rather Centre-Libertarian than Centre-Right?
