Cop was hungry I bet. No anti-hunting laws for chickens, so I can understand. Still a chicken in the middle of a suburb? It should scream pet.
Right, and I would have imagined people would have thought it to be cute and protect it.
Maybe that is what the police must have seen, as well as a nice opportunity for sports, testing their bow and arrows.
And I repeat, a chicken, as a farm animal, running around in a suburb should of screamed pet.
I'd feel sorry for the poor blighter. I was just thinking while I was looking at the video, that maybe the chicken could have been a problem for road safety. It really took its time to cross the road, and did not do it in one straight line, nor very quickly, it sort of ambled right, left, and in various directions first.I wouldn't. But then, I am one of those sissy veggies.
