Nice but also sad story. Imagine, a chicken with the name Connie. Dying the inglorious death of a bow and arrow. Wonder how many arrows it took? And whether the police were just having fun in chasing the chicken with a bow and arrow, rather than their claim that they had thought it to be a threat to other domestic animals. Real lame excuse ...![]()
My point exactly. And the police statement said the chicken was a threat for domestic animals! Just imagine the chicken chasing cats and dogs .... amazingly lame story. How the hell is a chicken a threat?![]()

Right, and I would have imagined people would have thought it to be cute and protect it.Cop was hungry I bet. No anti-hunting laws for chickens, so I can understand. Still a chicken in the middle of a suburb? It should scream pet.

Maybe that is what the police must have seen, as well as a nice opportunity for sports, testing their bow and arrows. It's a chicken. If I saw 1 running around, I'd think lunch, not cute. :giggle:

I'd feel sorry for the poor blighter. I was just thinking while I was looking at the video, that maybe the chicken could have been a problem for road safety. It really took its time to cross the road, and did not do it in one straight line, nor very quickly, it sort of ambled right, left, and in various directions first.I wouldn't. But then, I am one of those sissy veggies.![]()

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To get away from the hungry cop. :giggle:
