This is a bit old but the debate continues over whether Plan B (the "morning after" pill) should be made available over the counter as recommended by the FDA. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius vetoed the decision saying that adolescent girls might not be mature enough to understand how and when to use the drug.

Currently, the pill is available at the pharmacy counter to anyone over 17 without a prescription. Thoughts?

I am not wild about this pill, but it is better than abortion or unloved children. As parents we suffer a bit of denial when it comes to our children and sex. I think Sebelius made a mistake here.

How about unloved elderly people? Severely diable people? Maybe we need a "plan B" for them too?

Well I am elderly and disabled. I have thought for years they should let us get a "kit" with the right drugs in the right dose so we can get the hell out of the way.
Not force death on us, but not force life on us either.

So you are correct on the plan B for us.;)
