Buffet needs to just write a check (if that is what he wants to do) and shut up. I am tired of hearing from old money bags. Rich or poor the money you have should be yours to do with as you need and want to do. And I am no "rich Republican". My income was in the neighborhood of ten thousand for 2011.

Buffet is simply tying to 1. make tax collection more logical and 2. trying to show the remaining 90% that the top 10% aren't all money grabbing robber barons.
