Santorum wins Iowa after all

Also, don't expect most rational people conservative or liberal to care at this point. It really doesn't matter- they both got 7 delegates and a Santorum win doesn't mean much given all that has happened after and going into S. Carolina.

I love it!! It was a VERY big deal to you libs when Romney "won" - now that the record has been set straight, it's not a big deal. How about this: CBS News says Santorum is now number one in s. carolina. Another not a big deal? :p

Um... the results of the first primary were important after the first primary as it set the stage for the upcoming race. Looking at a net vote change in that primary of a few votes this way or that heading into the 3rd primary race does not matter. Most S. Carolinians and voters in upcoming primaries probably won't change their vote because of it. Hence, it does not really matter. Also, Gingrich and Romney are at the top of most polls for S. Carolina. Also, I am not really a liberal.

Good for Santorum.

I am sure O'bama is also glad he won. Because he knows too many voters either hate religion or fear religion to get elected president.

Opinions on religion aside, Santorum takes it too far.

Romney's false "win" in iowa, and his single win in liberal new england, was used by the lib media to fuel the "Romney is inevitable" myth. Now that the myth has been punctured, you libs downplay it. :p

The only religious issue has been Romney's mormonism. Obama fears a REAL conservative, who can offer voters a CLEAR choice - either four more years of the same, or......uh.......er.......CHANGE. :p

I disagree. Santorum is always bringing religion into the mix. And most people do notice it.

He's not "always" bringing it up, but it may seem that way because of course the lib media will put that in their nightly soundbites, skipping most of his policy statements. and in any case most people in the GOP's core constituency like it.

Which is why we're going to see a Dem victory (WH, Senate and House though I'm not sure it'll be a wave as in '06-'08) in November.

They may like it, but not enough like it to elect him president. There is one thing I wish he would talk about. I think he would be against the "right to die". That is what turned me off about Jeb Bush a few years ago. I believe my life is mine to do with as I want. I sure don't want someone else telling me I have to hang on.

Riiiiiiiiiiight - Americans are such anti-religious bigots, that they are going to wreck their lives with 4 more years of obama. :p

Riiiiiiiight, as if he's asked to be elected just on the basis of his religion. :p

Your grasp of that issue is simplistic. Especially with the possible full implementation of obamacare rationing, the right to die might morph in the DUTY to die. I DO agree with a sane, reasoning person's prerogative to kill himself, but that slippery slope is used to bolster possibly immoral actions like pulling the plug on comotose patients.

It's amazing for how many problems libs see killing as a solution: the comotose, the terminally ill, unwanted fetuses.

Well you would know more about "libs" than I do. I am not and have never been one. That is why my wife and me both have a living will. We don't want some "do gooder" keeping us on a machine for years because "they" are not ready for us to die. So if needed we will pull the plug for the other.;)
