While Israeli-Palestinian Talks Unfold.

Over five decades now, Zionists have killed Palestinians with impunity. And in the 1996 shelling of a U.N. base in Qana, Lebanon, the Israelis killed more than 100 civilians sheltered there. As an Israeli journalist, Arieh Shavit, explains of the massacre, “We believe with absolute certitude that right now, with the White House in our hands, the Senate in our hands and The New York Times in our hands, the lives of others do not count the same way as our own.”
Israelis today, explains the anti-Zionist Jew Israel Shahak, “are not basing their religion on the ethics of justice. They do not accept the Old Testament as it is written. Rather, religious Jews turn to the Talmud. For them, the Talmudic Jewish laws become “the Bible.” And the Talmud teaches that a Jew can kill a non-Jew with impunity.

The talks are about American politics, not reality. The only question is whether the Zionists are to be allowed to murder all the people whose country they are occupying.

You seriously overestimate Israels' support here.

Is It Too Late?

Uri Avenery is a Jew who has lived between the River and the sea longer than the Jewish state has been in existence. Like many of his cohorts, Uri wasn't convinced of the wisdom behind planting a Jewish homeland in close proximity to Arab oil.

The following is from his book Pax Semitica:

"SOME MONTHS before the outbreak of the Six-Day War, I met a high-ranking member of the Egyptian regime. The meeting took place in Paris through the auspices of a mutual friend. Throughout the years, I have met many leaders of the different Arab states, exchanging opinions and trading ideas for a settlement. But this meeting was different.

"At the outset, I said to my new-found friend: 'Let's make a list of all possible solutions to the Israeli-Arab conflict. Let's analyze every solution in turn and see where we get.'

"Taking a pen, we wrote the following list on the paper cloth on our table in the Paris restaurant:

(A) Annihilation by war
(B) The destruction of Israel by political and economic isolation
(C) Status quo
(D) A Semitic federation."

A federation of Jew and Arab stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates would have proven impervious to the edicts of DC, Moscow, or the EU. Maybe that explains why it didn't happen. Yet.

All bullyboys say that, poor little blushing violents. A murder a day keeps the thinking away!

Obviously so does hate, being antisemitic and bashing the United States.

I wouldn't know, not being into either. The people I 'bash' are the child-murdering Nazis occupying Palestine and the American extremists who approve of paying for it. You jackboot boys have been getting away with murder with that particular Goebbels-honking for far too long.

I disagree with your self-assessment. Also with your characterization that Israelis are Nazis.

Well, capitalism is not in danger in your colony, and the Yanks won't let you murder Semites yet, but otherwise you follow your Great Leader. Sad for you about the New Camps. Shout across the Office to HBendor and tell him I've still got him on ignore, would you.

Nazis no, that was a German political movement of no relevance. Their gov't is rife with sometimes racist nationalism though.

It is of close relevance. Nazism and Zionism are the twin sons of racist German nationalism and the Maximalist movement out of which the present Nazi government in 'Israel' developed was devoted to Mussolini, and called its centre the Brown House in honour of Hitler.

"Before and during the Second World War, individual Zionists like Nahum Goldmann and Yitzhak Grienbaum, demanded participation in the struggle for the rights of the Jews. However, all trends and all important leaders of Zionism refused this demand. In 1935 the board of the Jewish Agency, the institution which ran Zionist activities in Palestine, appointed a special commission to look into the problems of the Jews in Germany. So it came about that during the board meeting of the Jewish Agency on 31 December 1935, David Ben-Gurion, in answer to the demand of Y. Grienbaum that the Zionist movement should take part in the struggle for the rights of the Jews in Germany, stated that ‘Even according to Grienbaum, the job of the commission appointed by the board was not to deal with the rights of the Jews in Germany."http://libcom.org/library/zionism-its-scarecrows

How Ideological Enemies Collaborated to Achieve Divergent Goals
In his latest book, Francis R. Nicosia returns to and explores in greater detail one of the major topics of his important earlier book, The Third Reich and the Palestine Question (1985): the complex and sometimes symbiotic relationship between German Zionists and the National Socialists before the Holocaust. Unlike most previous studies of relations between Germans and Jews in the modern era, which have focused on the incompatibility of German ethnic nationalism and the dominant liberalism of most Germans,[1] Nicosia's study addresses a different confrontation: the relationship of völkisch German nationalism and antisemitism to Zionism, described in the introduction as "a völkisch Jewish nationalist ideology and movement that started from some of the same philosophical premises as German nationalism with regard to nationality, national life, and the proper definition and organization of peoples and states in the modern world" (p. 2). Although Nicosia traces völkisch influences on Zionist thought in the nineteenth and early twentieth century and reveals certain assumptions shared by Nazis and Zionists on how best to resolve Germany's "Jewish question" before the Second World War, he firmly rejects any suggestion of moral or political equivalency between German and Jewish nationalism. While Jewish nationalists wished to found a Jewish state in Palestine to escape from European antisemitism, German nationalists encouraged Jewish emigration to Palestine to rid their country of Jews. Both Zionists and antisemites rejected the liberal Enlightenment ideal of full Jewish assimilation in their host societies as free and equal citizens, but they did so for very different reasons. However, their differing motives and mutual hostility to each other did not prevent Nazis and Zionists from temporarily collaborating to achieve their respective ends.
